Big owl and Full Moon
Owl and Full Moon! The combination is absolutely unique! Every year, owls migrate from northern Finland to southern Finland, where small rodents abound. The further south the food is, the further the owls migrate. I have often dreamed of taking beautiful photos of these birds of prey. I had a similar opportunity a few win- ters ago, when there was an exceptional migration as there was plenty of food in southern Finland. The owls also preyed during the day, even in the presence of people. The winter light and the full moon make for a perfect picture.
